As part of RobMac’s continued support of aspiring individuals, this year the company is sponsoring a young golfer – Scott Gillies. Scott is the assistant golf professional at North Berwick West Links where he is already a well respected coach. This year, Scott is going to focus more on tournaments with an ambition to join the European Tour.
The starting point however is to play in Scotland’s Tartan Tour which kicks off this April with four events at Blairgowrie, Dundonald, Montrose and Royal Dornoch. There are a total of 13 events on the Tartan Tour as well as other pro-am events throughout the year.
As part of his build up, Scott is working hard in the gym to get fit and working with his coaches to refine his swing for what will be a very busy year.
RobMac are delighted to support Scott and we’ll keep you updated as to his progress throughout the year.
In addition to Scott’s busy teaching and playing tournaments, he will spend some time with RobMac and so hopefully some of our keen golfing clients will get a chance to meet him during the year.
